Craigslist Chair
As a personal project I wanted to refurbish a chair for my apartment. I ended up finding this great chair with a great design lines and asthetics. I was able to negotiate the price to $40 dollars as it needed a lot of work. I went through the process of removing the previous finish and finding a new darker finish that i felt matched my space. With the help of my mother the seamstress, we were able to sew together the selected fabric to create new cushions for the chair.
I am very happy with the result and enjoyed the process of finding new life in a great chair and the process of design and fabrication.
